We are excited to invite you to this semester's Student-Led Conferences, which will be held on October 22nd from 4 to 6 p.m.! This is a unique opportunity for students to take the lead in discussing their academic journey and personal growth. Students have created personalized website portfolios to showcase their work, achievements, and goals across all their classes.
Participation in these conferences is required for all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students, who will guide the conversation, giving you valuable insights into their learning progress, successes, and areas for improvement. This format promotes:
- Student ownership of their academic achievements and responsibilities.
- Increased confidence as they communicate directly with you about their goals and progress.
- Stronger connections between students, parents, and teachers, ensuring a shared understanding of their development.
In addition to celebrating their successes, students will reflect on their goals for the future and outline areas they plan to improve. We believe this process is key to fostering a growth mindset and encouraging continuous learning.
